On Pahela Baishakh of 2014, Bidya Sinha Mim and Emon’s acted first movie Jonakir Alo was released. It was directed by Khalid Mahmud Mithu under the banner of Impress Telefilm Ltd. This movie didn’t become commercially successful. In the meantime, as a pair, Mim and Emon didn’t presented properly in that movie.
But director of small screen Tonmoy Tansen has created hype among the viewers to cast Emon and Mim in his directed movie Podmo Patar Jol. It was second movie of Emon-Mim as a pair. Tonmoy has utilised the talents of Mim and Emon in this movie which result was found after releasing the movie in Eid-ul-Fitr.
While asking Manager of Balaka Cine World Joy about why viewers are showing interest to watch the movie he told this correspondent, “After many days viewers a get movie to enjoy where the movie has been made under basis of nice story, melodious songs and its making. After long time viewers has returned to cinema halls to watch this movie.”
While talking about his acted movie Emon said, “Podmo Patar Jol is one of the best movies in my life till now. I am grateful to all who are involved with this movie and the viewers.”
Mim shared her feelings by this way, “I acted in this movie in role of Fuleshwari. If I didn’t get the opportunity to act in any other movie I have no repentance because to perform in this movie in that role I will survive in the hearts of many viewers, I believe. But I request the viewers to go to cinema halls to watch this movie.”
It may be mentioned that Podmo Patar Jol was released in 27 cinema halls across the country in Eid. Its story was written by Latiful Islam Shibly.
