Bangladesh Combined Professionals Council (Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad) arranged a meeting on views exchange at a city posh community centre in Ctg Saturday evening with Convenor Chittagong Unnayan Andolan Dr. Abul Kalam Azad in the chair.Among others former minister and Vice chairman of BNP Abdullah al Noman, former Minister and chief election agent of Mayor aspirant manzoor alam Amir Khasru Mahmud chowdhury, former city mayor Manzoor Alam, former state minister Mir Nasiruddin, President of BFUJ Showkat Mahmud, former BFUJ President Rubul Amin ghazi, elderly journalist Mafuzullah , President of Supreme court Bar association Adv. Khondakar Mahbub Hossain, BNP leader Jafrul Islam chowdhury MP, Golam Akbar Khondakar, former whip Wahidul Alam spoke on the occasion. BCPP ctg unit arranged the meeting to extend support to CUJ and BNP backed Mayor nominee Manzoor Alam.
The speakers in the meet asked all irrespective of opinions to caste their valuable votes in favour of organge symbol in the CCC mayor race.
BNP led 20 party alliance participating the upcoming CC elections in Dhaka and Chittagong as a part of the movemet of the 20 party alliance. Supreme court Bar President urged upon the lawyers of Chittagong to work for the BNP backed nominee as a spokesman of the nationalist forces.
He further said there is no alternative of victory of Manzoor Alam for survival of the nationalist forces in the country. He also urged to oust the present facist govt through electing BNP backed nominee.
