A view exchange meeting was held between Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture with scientists and officials of Bangladesh Sugar-crop Research Institute at Auditorium of the institute on Tuesday night . Dr. Amjad Hossain, Director General of Sugarcrop .
The Chief Guest of the meeting, Mesbahul Islam, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, has expressed satisfaction over the research activities of Sugar crop and called for innovation of new and more varieties of sugarcane.
BRC’s Executive Chairman was the special guest. Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtiyar, Director General of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Mohammad Asadullah, Director General of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute. Debashish Sarkar, BMDA Executive Director Engineer Abdur Rashid and Pabna Deputy Commissioner Biswas Russell Hossain.
At the beginning, SM Rezaul Karim, Senior Scientific Officer, presented a video on Sugarcrop research activities.
