Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has landed in hot soup after her film’s shooting reportedly came to a halt after she turned down an invitation to dinner from a state minister. Vidya Balan is currently filming for her upcoming film Sherni in Madhya Pradesh. For the past few weeks, she has been in the state to shoot a few scenes in a forest area, Times Now News reported on Monday.
According to the report, vehicles of the production team of the upcoming film were reportedly prevented from entering the forest for the filming. This was done a day after the actress turned down the invitation for dinner of Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister Vijay Shah. Shah was said to have requested Vidya to have a meal with him, but the actor did not feel comfortable and turned the offer down. The minister then revoked the shooting permit, and the shooting team was stuck in the middle of a farm.
Balaghat’s District Forest Officer (DFO) prevented the team’s vehicles from accessing the forest, saying that only two vehicles were allowed.
However, Shah denied the claims and said that he was the one who rejected the dinner request.
This is not the first time the shooting of Sherni is in the news. As actor Vijay Raaz was arrested on November 2 and later released on bail after a female Sherni crewmember filed a molestation lawsuit against him.
