Noted actresses Aruna Biswas and popular actress of present time Mehazabien Chowdhury will share the screen in a Victory Day’s special telefilm titled Baba Ashben directed by promising director Habib Shakil.
Based on a story with the same title by Anisul Haque, the telefilm will be aired on Ntv on Victory Day, December 16.
The shooting for the telefilm has already been completed in a shooting house in the capital’s Uttara area.
While talking about acting in the telefilm Aruna Biswas told this correspondent, “Many stories of the Liberation War are still unknown. The story of Baba Ashben is such a story. I believe the narrative style will be liked by the viewers. Mehazabien is my co-artiste in the telefilm. She has performed very well. She concentrates on her work without making any additional demands.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “The new telefilm will take the viewers to the era of the Liberation War. While performing in the telefilm, I realised the pain suffered by women in their own families. I would like to thank director Habib Shakil for producing the telefilm on this story. I am also grateful to Aruna Biswas for her constant support.”
Apart from this, Aruna Biswas will be also seen in yet another Victory Day’s special telefilm titled Joynab Bibi on Channel i. Actress Jyotika Jyoti will be seen with her in the telefilm, Aruna also said.
