The Victory Day Wrestling competition begins today (Sunday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city, said a press release.
Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation general secretary Tabiur Rahman will formally inaugurate the two-day meet as chief guest.
Around two hundred men and women wrestlers from different services teams, clubs and districts from across the country will take part in the sixteen weight categories – eight of men’s and eight of women’s.
Ahead of the competition players’ weight has been taken on Saturday at the federation’s office room.
