The Victory Day Tennis competition begins today (Saturday) at the National Tennis Court Complex in Ramna here.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs and president of Bangladesh Tennis Federation (BTF) M Shahriar Alam will inaugurate the seven-day meet as the chief guest. Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy will present as the special guest.
The competition will be held in men’s singles & doubles, woman’s singes & doubles, boys singles 16 year, boys’/girls, singles and doubles 14 years, boys’/girls singles 12 years and mini tennis (under-10 and under-8), organized by BTF.
A total of 1,18,000 prize money will be given in both men’s and women’s section of the competition.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Friday at the National Tennis Court Complex in Ramna to give all the details of the meet.
BTF advisor Golam Morshed, BTF general secretary Meer Khurshid Anwar and tournament director Lutfar Rahman Chantu were present, among others on the occasion.
