The day-long Trust Bank Victory Day Taekwondo Competition concluded at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on Sunday.
Bangladesh Army emerged the champions of the Men’s Senior Group while BKSP became champions of the Men’s Junior Group.
Eden Girls’ College emerged the champions of the Women’s Senior Group while BAF Shaheen School & College became champions of the Women’s Junior Group.
After the competition Director (Education) of Bangladesh Army Brigadier General ASM Mushfiqur Rahman distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, General Secretary of the Federation Mahmudul Islam Rana were present at the time.
Earlier, Secretary of the National Sports Council Shivnath Roy inaugurated the meet as the chief guest in the morning while Joint-Secretary (Planning & Development) of the Council Ziaul Hasan was present with him as the special guest.
A total of 350 players from 24 teams took part in the competition.
