Walton Victory Day Taekwondo Competition began on Tuesday at the Gymnasium in the National Sports Council.
Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn inaugurated the taekwondo meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Mahmudul Islam Rana presided over the opening ceremony.
A total of 350 athletes (including 150 female taekwondo players) from different districts, associations and corporations are taking part in the two-day long taekwondo meet.
