Marcel Victory Day Rugby (Men’s Division & Women’s Division) Competition will begin on December 11 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Bangladesh Rugby Federation will arrange the two-day long rugby competition under auspices of Walton Group.
Regarding the rugby meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. Head of Sports and Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) Mousum Ali, Joint Secretary of BRU and Chairman of the Tournament Committee (Men’s Division) Sayeed Ahmed, Secretary of the Tournament Committee (Men’s Division) Din Islam, Secretary of the Tournament Committee (Women’s Division) were present at the conference, among others.
A total of four teams will take part in the Men’s Division. They are: Bangladesh Army, Flame Boys Club, Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club and Rajdhani Rugby Club.
A number of four teams will participate in the Women’s Division. They are: Flame Girls’ Club, Victoria Sporting Club, Azad Sporting Club and Topdeal. com. bd Rugby Club.
