Entertainment Desk A reunion programme for artistes of Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, the only voice for Freedom Fighters during the Liberation War of 1971 will be screened on BTV on the occasion of the coming Victory Day. The artistes have lent their voices for ten patriotic songs broadcast during the Liberation War. The programme “Shursainik” was recorded in BTV’s studio on December 6. Nearly eighteen veteran singers have contributed for the programme. Participating singers are Abdul Jabbar, Rafiqul Alam, Timir Nandi, Abu Nawsher, Manaranjan Ghoshal, Bulbul Mahalanabish, Anup Bhattacharya, Uma Khan, Rezaul Karim, Fakir Alamgir and more. Songs that will be presented through the programme include “Bijoy Nishan Urche Oi,” “Durgamgir Kanatar Moru”, “Janatar Sangram Cholbe”, “Rokto Diye Naam Likhechi”, “Joy Bangla Banglar Joy” etc.
