Bangladesh Ansar beat Quantum Foundation by 37-33 goals in the day’s first match of the Men’s Division of the Niaz-Udayan Builders Victory Day Handball Competition at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Monday.
The winners led the first half 21-15.
In the day’s second match of the same division, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) defeated Bangladesh Police by 34-19 goals at the same venue.
The winners had a 18-14 goals lead in the first half.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Police thrashed Handball Training Centre by 16-5 goals in the Women’s Division after completing the first session with a 8-3 goals lead at the same venue.
In the day’s second match of the same division, BJMC defeated Bangladesh Ansar by 33-18 goals after finishing the first half with a 17-10 goals lead at the same venue.
Today BJMC will face Bangladesh Ansar in the final of the Women’s Division at 1,30 pm at the same venue, while Border Guard Bangladesh will meet Bangladesh Police in the final of the Men’s Division at 3.30 pm at the same venue.
After the final matches, State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
