Mohiuddin Chowdhury said that Bangabandhu daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina not only filled the constitutional void but also protected the country’s democracy by holding 10th Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) polls on January 5 in 2014.
He blasted BNP-Jammat and allies for their widespread violence, vandalism, killing, anarchy and creating panic in their bid to install an unconstitutional government by thwarting the national polls.
City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin said people of the country would never forget BNP led ally’s nefarious game of playing with the bloods of the masses. He called upon BNP to come to the path of democracy and participate in the next general election.
