Marking the Victory Day, a week-long programmes began here from December 10 at Chotabazar Mukta Mancha. The Victory Day celebration committee and district unit command of Bangladesh Muktijuddah Sangsad arranged the programmes.
Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Begum Raushan Ersad, formally inaugurated it as chief guest. The programmes included discussions, seminar, memorial speech, poetry recitation, staging drama and cultural function.
On the closing day of the programmes on December 16, Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman will present as chief guest and State Minister for Social Welfare Promod Mankin and Dr. Amanullah, MP, will present as special guests.
