The Walton Smartphone Victory Day Open Bodybuilding Competition will be held today at the Auditorium of National Sports Council. Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation will arrange the bodybuilding meet under auspices of RB Group.
A total of 200 bodybuilders will participate in the competition.
The competition will be held in five weight categories. They are: 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg and Above 70 kg.
To mark the upcoming bodybuilding meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation and Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of the Federation Md Nazrul Islam and First Senior Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing of Walton Smartphone Asifur Rahman Asif were present at the conference, among others.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at TK one lakh and fifty thousand while RB Group, the sponsor of the meet has given all the money to Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation to run the competition smoothly.
The winners of the competition will be awarded handsome prize-money.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation and Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will inaugurate the meet today at 11.00 am as the chief guest.
After the competition President of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation Major General (Retd) Subid Ali Bhuiyan, MP will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
