Victoria SC and Police AC recorded wins in their respective matches of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League on Tuesday.
Victoria SC and Police AC collected 25 points each from their respective 10 matches. Thus the First Division Hockey league Committee will decide today if the two teams will be the joint champions or a play-off match will be held between the two teams to decide the crown of the First Division Hockey League.
In the day’s first match, Victoria SC defeated Shantinagar SC by 9-0 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Sagor of Victoria SC scored five goals with a hat-trick and his teammates Likhon, Abir successfully struck two times each on the board.
In the day’s second match, Police AC beat Mokto Bihanga Tarun Sangha by three goals at the same venue.
Mahfuzur of Police AC scored two goals and his colleague Nayan Dey netted one goal.
