Vice- Chancellor of National University Prof Dr Harun-Or-Rashid addressing the 19th Annual Senate session of the University held on Saturday. The Senate approved revised budget of Tk 289 Crore 40 Lac and 20 Thousand for the year 2016-2017 and adopted a revenue budget of Tk 274 Crore 52 Lac 93 thousand and development budget of Tk 148 Crore 25 Lac for the FY 2017-2018. Amongst others, Shahiduzzaman Sarkar MP, Begum Happy Boral MP, Dhirendra Debnath Sambhu MP, Motahar Hossain MP, Dr Sharif Enamul Kabir, Dr Khandokar Bazlul Hoque, Dr Muhammad Samad, Prof Mahbubur Rahman, Principal Kazi Faruq Ahmed, Divisional Commissioner (Mymensing), Helaluddin Ahmed (Divisional Commissioner Dhaka), Muhiuddin Khan (Additional Secretary), Dr Wahiduzzaman, Prof Dr Anower Hossain, Chairman (Sylhet Educational Board). Prof Dr Hafiz Md. Hasan Babu, Prof Dr. Moshiur Rahman and Prof Noman Ur Rashid attended the session.
