Veteran journalist ABM Musa passed away at a city hospital on Wednesday. He was 83. Family sources said he breathed his last at Labaid Hospital at 1:15 pm. The senior journalist was on life support at the hospital since Monday night. He had been receiving treatment at the hospital for old-age complications since January this year. Born at Dhormopur village in Feni in 1931, Musa, was founder member of the National Press Club. He started his professional career in journalism with The Insaf in 1950. He contributed in the different fields of journalism during his 64 years of professional life. ABM Musa received many awards including Ekushey Padak. – UNB, Dhaka
