Veteran actor Kader Khan hospitalised in Canada

Famous actor Kader Khan has been hospitalised in Canada where he lives with his son and daughter-in-law. Kader Khan is said to be suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a disease which causes loss of balance, dementia and difficulty in walking. The 81-year-old actor recently underwent a knee surgery which was not successful and since then the was actor unable to walk properly. The actor also showed signs of pneumonia and was hospitalised, after which he was put on the BiPAP ventilator because of his deteriorating health. Although the doctors have been religiously working on the betterment of the actor’s health, his condition remains fragile.
The actor has been a part of over 300 films in his career and had a huge fan following because of his impeccable comic timing. Having starred in hit movies like Judaai, Hero No 1, Raja Babu, Taqdeerwaala, Hum Hain Kamaal Ke, Coolie No 1, Lucky, Fun2shh, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Rajaji and many more, he was defined as a mass entertainer.
