Vegetable prices come down in port city, fish meat steady

Due to abundant supply of winter vegetables, the prices of almost all types of vegetables have come down in the kitchen market of the port city . Besides, the price of fish has not increased. On Friday, the city’s Boksirhat Raw Bazaar, Chawkbazar and Riazuddin Bazar were visited, and vegetable prices remained unchanged as last week. New potatoes are being sold in the market at Tk 20 per kg. Sweet pumpkin 20-25 taka, bean 25-30 taka, bean seed 70-80 taka, cauliflower 20 taka, cabbage 15 taka, carrot 20 taka, tomato 25 taka, eggplant 20-30 taka, radish 10-15 taka pumpkin 15 Taka, barabati 40 taka, raw papaya 30 taka, green chillies 60-70 taka per kg, coriander leaves are being sold at 60-70 taka per kg.In the fish market, local rui per kg 120 to 150 taka, tilapia 110 taka, catal 180 to 230 taka, shrimp size 300 to 500 taka, rupachanda 350 to 500 taka, pabda 450 taka, laitya 90-100 taka, pangas 120 taka, kai 500 takas Horn is being sold at Tk 550 and Hilsa at Tk 350. In the meat market, mutton is being sold at Tk 800, beef at Tk 600 , broiler chicken at Tk 120, layer chicken at Tk 200 and golden chicken at Tk 190.
Meanwhile, the prices of rice and edible oil have gone up in the market. In the wholesale market, 50 kg desi beti 28 rice is being sold at Tk 2,650 and boiled rice at Tk 2,200 to 2500 per 50 kgs.
