‘Veet-Channel i Top Model’ contest kicks off again

‘Veet-Channel i Top Model,’ the country’s most prestigious and credible model hunt contest is back once again. Depilatory brand Veet and Channel i created this unique platform in 2011 through the unveiling of the contest.
In order to announce this grand event, a joint press conference was held at the Channel i office in the city’s Tejgaon area recently.
The official announcement of the programme was made by Faridur Reza Sagor, Managing Director of Channel i, and Mahbub Baset, Marketing Director of Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The event was attended by a number of noted celebrities, eminent journalists and invited guests from both the parties.
The show will give a candid view into the lives of the aspiring young girls vying for the title of ‘Veet-Channel i Top Model 2014.’
The behind the-scenes drama, the insecurities, highs as well as lows, trials plus tribulations and all the hard work and fun, that goes into the training for the D-day will be captured by the contest on Channel i.
In addition to that, the contestant who gets the maximum votes will get a place in the top ten of the final contest. The series will showcase the range of emotions and challenges, which the girls face to win the crown and the fascinating fine points that, go into the making of a ‘Top Model.’
The honourable judges for this series will be the celebrity model Adil Hossain Nobel, eminent model and choreographer Tania Ahmed and beauty specialist Kaniz Almas Khan.
The programme would be directed by Taher Shipon and Rumana Rashid Ishita as the executive producer and chief co-ordinator respectively, said the organisers.
