The incumbent vice chancellor and previous four VCs of Chattogram University have been awarded with honour at the first ever reunion function of the Chattogram Alumni Association at GEC Convention Hall in the city yesterday morning.
In this reunion function, the previous VC expressed their happiness to joining the programs.
They said ‘ we are proud of attending the function of CU Alumni assocn. Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud also delivered his expressions and delivered reminiscence of his university life and get together with old friends in the function.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud said University a place of scenic natural beauty and there is no alternative of university campus like Chattogram University. The honourary awarded VCs are Prof. Abdul Mannan, Prof. Badiul Alam, Prof. Alauddin, Prof. Anowarul Azim Arif, Prof. Dr. Shirin Akher. President of Alumni Association former Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Abdul Karim delivered address of welcome in it.
