Varsity student killed in Rupganj road crash A private university student was killed in a road accident in Rupganj of Narayanganj on Monday afternoon.
Son of Babul Mia of Kalni in Daudpur union, deceased Limon Mia was a first year student of University of Information Technology and Science (UITS) in Dhaka.
Bholabo investigation centre in-charge Saiful Islam said Limon met the tragic end of his life while heading towards Kanchan Bridge area by his motorcycle.
A pickup van rammed into the bike in Brahmankhali area on the Asian Highway around 12:30pm, leaving Limon dead on the spot.
