An incident of vandalism occurred in a food house named Sadia’s Kitchen of Chowkbazar in city on Saturday centering the bargaining the food bills.
Chowkbazar thana sources said a ground of youths after having foods in the shop asked the restaurant manager to discount the food bills according their demand of 30 % but the management allowed them 10 percent discount.
Following the altercations over discount, the customers ransacked the restaurant properties, sources said. Eye witnesses sources said the incident occurred at about 5 pm on Saturday.
Sensing the news of incident, the police forces rushed to the spot and found the restaurant closed. No case as yet lodged with the concerned police station, sources said.
