A van driver in Rajshahi lost a leg in a road accident on early Thursday.
The injured was identified as Sultan, son of Jhoror of Pali area at Durgapur upazila. Sultan’s leg was severed.
Sultan’s wife Rina Khatun, said he was injured in a road crash while Natore-bound passengers’ bus Urmi Paribahan rammed into the van from behind at Binodpur area of the city on early Thursday. Later, he was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. However, Saiful Ferdous, a deputy director of the hospital said that Sultan is now undergoing treatment at ward no. 31. Police seized the bus from the spot.
