Valuables worth at least Tk 70 lakh were gutted and 4 people were injured in a fire originated from electric short circuits at Charght Upazila in Rajshahi on Saturday noon .
Charghat Fire station officials said, when the Eid-ul-Fitr festival was going on, a three storied building was caught by the fire causing about 70 lakh loss.
Charghat Upazila Chairmen Faqrul Islam, SASP Nur Alom, Poro Mayor Zakirul Islam Biqul and OC Nazrul Islam visited the spot and they also went to the upazila health complex to visit fire victims Pritom, Zamil, Monirul and Razu.
