Chittagong Bureau :
Valuables worth Tk five lakh were gutted in a hardware shop at Raozan upazila in Chittagong on Sunday early hours.
However, no casualties were recorded in the incident. Fire brigade sources said the fire was originated from short circuit at the business institution in School Market in Noapara under the upazila at around Sunday zero hours.
They said a fire fighting unit from Kalurghat fire station rushed to the spot and extinguished the flame. The extent loss was estimated according to the shop owner Ranjan Dey, they added.
