Vaccination programmes began for HSC candidates in Nilphamri and elsewhere in the country. It was inaugurated by Principal Didarul Islam at Nilphamari Government College on Thursday. District Education Officer Shafiqul Islam, Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon’s Office Abdullah Al Mamun and General Secretary of College Teachers’ Council Shaila Islam were present on the occasion. Medical Officer Abdullah Al Mamun said that 3401 students of Nilphamari Sadar will be given Pfizer corona vaccine in the first phase. Of these, 619 are being given on the opening day. Of these, 264 are girls and 435 are boys. He said the second dose would be given on the 21st of next month. All HSC candidates in the district will be given corona vaccine subject to vaccination.
