The Victory Day Tennis competition was inaugurated on Saturday at national tennis court complex in the city’s Ramna.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP also president of Bangladesh Tennis Federation formally inaugurated the six-day meet as chief guest.
A total of 215 players from nineteen clubs/ associations are competing in the thirteen events meet, organized by Bangladesh Tennis Federation (BTF.
The events are men’s singles & doubles, women’s singles & doubles, boys’ singles under 16 years and boys’/girls under 14 years, under 12 years, under 10 years and under 8 years.
The cash prize of Taka 2,32,000 will be given in men’s and women’s division.
