The Walton Victory Day Taekwondo competition begins today (Tuesday) at National Sports Council gymnasium, said a Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) press release.
Bangladesh Awami League central committee’s Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary Harunur Rashid is expected to inaugurate the two-day meet as chief guest, sponsored by Walton High-tech Industries Limited and organized by BTF.
FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, head of the department (sports and welfare) Walton High-tech Industries Limited, will present as special guest.
A total of 350 players from different districts, associations and corporations from across the country are taking part in the meet.
