The Griffith University has proposed to offer 25 scholarships over a period of five years for PhD programme to students from Bangladesh.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and Griffith University in near future, said a press release.
‘Joint research activities and academic staff exchange facilities shall be conducted as per the MoU…The PhD scholarship, academic and research collaboration will enhance our research and development activities,” said UGC Member Professor Yousuf Ali Mollah, to the journalists recently. A three-member delegation from Australia, Professor David Grant, Pro- Vice Chancellor of the Griffith , Professor Peter Woods and Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s Business Development Manager Mostafizur Rahman called on Professor Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah at UGC.
