Uzbekistan finished at fifth position in the Bangabandhu Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone International Volleyball tournament beating the Maldives by 3-0 set in the place-deciding match held on Thursday at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
Meanwhile Bangladesh will take on Central Asian nation, Turkmenistan in the title deciding final of the tournament scheduled to be held on today (Friday) at 4 pm at the same venue.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is expected to be present in the final as the chief guest and later distribute the prize among the winners.
