The second day agitation of the teachers, physicians and the officials of the University of Science and Technology(USTC) passed off peacefully to press home their demand of enacting service rules for the teachers, physicians and the employees.
The seconday agitation begins from 9 am which continued upto 1 pm. The agitation procession paraded the city roads in Foys Lake area and Zakir Hossain Road.
After termination of the procession , a rally was held with the campus of the university. In the rally, convener of the Sangram Parishad Dr. Kamaluddin, Member Secretary Anowarul Islam, Dr. Prakash, Dr. Mostafa Kamal and Dr. Didarul Alam spoke on the occasion. Sources said USTC is running without the Vice chancellor, pro-VC and Treasurer since long.
