A Malaysian academic delegation led by Prof Dr Asma Ismail, Vice Chancellor ‘Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia’ (USIM) visited International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) on Tuesday. The universities signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for exchanging students to ensure quality development.
USIM Vice Chancellor said the core academic policy objectives of her university is based on certain cardinal principles to produce graduates with greater academic grooming accompanied by balanced thought, wider vision, intellectual acumen, capability in research in order to help them attain professionalism.
The academic system is based on Islamic code of conduct but the main focus of higher education stands on advanced knowledge, technology and research in line with global changes.
Prof. Dr. M Alimullah Miyan, Founder and Vice Chancellor of IUBAT thanked the members of the Malaysian delegation.
