Usha Krira Chakra, Mohammedan Sporting Club and Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club won their respective matches of the Cute Women’s Handball League on Sunday.
At the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium, Usha Krira Chakra defeated Arambegh Krira Sangha by 36-14 goals after completing the first half with a 19-6 goals lead.
Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited thrashed Viqarunnisa Sports Club by 35-6 goals after finishing the first session with a 14-1 goals lead at the same venue.
Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club drubbed Flame Girls Club by 36-6 goals at the same venue.
The winners led the first half by 19-1 goals.
Director of Mousumi Industries Limited Kazi Mahtab Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the handball meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Chairman of the League Committee Begum Ayesha Siddiqua, General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor and Secretary of the League Committee SM Khalequzzaman were present at the time.
