Program Officer of South and Central Asia Fulbright Program, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at USA, Margaret R O’connor, called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Tuesday at the latter’s office of the university. Cultural Affairs Officer of the American Center Bilal Faruqi and Cultural Affairs Specialist of the American Center Shaheen Khan were present, said a release.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of increasing the number of fulbright scholars and visiting Professors from USA for newly established Departments of the University. The VC apprised them of the academic and research activities of Dhaka University in brief.
