Dr EM Pannah, a cyber security expert also Professor of the University of Maryland, USA called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office on the campus on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed about the possibilities of development of academic programmes on cyber security at Dhaka University, a DU press release said.
They also discussed for introducing a short course on cyber security at DU Computer Science and Engineering department while they also agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard soon. Professor of DU Computer Science and Engineering department Dr Md Hasanuzzaman joined the meeting, among others, the release added.
