The consular section of the US Embassy in Dhaka in collaboration with the Embassy’s EducationUSA student advising center, will host events titled ‘Student Visa Day’ on June 25 and July 9 in the city.
Over 700 Bangladeshi students who aspire to pursue higher education in the United States are expected to apply for student visas, said a media release on Tuesday.
‘Student Visa Day’ will provide an opportunity for students to experience a fun and festive atmosphere to present their applications for visas, attend special sessions from EducationUSA on academics and campus life in the United States, and join a preliminary pre-departure orientation by student advisors. Students may also have an opportunity to meet US Ambassador Marcia Bernicat who is planning to visit the consular section during the event.
Student applicants are welcome to apply and schedule an interview on either ‘Student Visa Day.’
