UNB, Dhaka :Amid its growing importance in the region, Bangladesh issues may also come up “significantly” during US Secretary of State John Kerry’s discussion in India after his Dhaka visit.Across South Asia, US policy and programmes protect US interests and create the conditions for growth and security and naturally a brief on his Bangladesh discussions will come up during his discussion in India, a diplomatic source told UNB. Secretary Kerry will travel to New Delhi from Dhaka for meetings withsenior Indian officials after completing Dhaka visit, according to US Department of State.South Asia is a region with powerful potential, the source said adding that India is leading the South Asia and India’s views are important to the US.
