Staff Reporter :A diplomat of US Embassy on Thursday visited BNP chairperson’s adviser and former state minister for foreign affairs Reaz Rahman, who was injured in a gun attack by unidentified criminals on January 13, at United Hospital Limited in the city. Political Secretary of the US Embassy in Dhaka Cathleen Gibilosko visited the hospital in the afternoon. He spent some time there. The US diplomat avoided media when he was coming out of the hospital. The criminals shot Reaz Rahman in the leg and waist and torched his car near Westin Hotel at Gulshan-2 on his way back home from BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s office. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Doctors of the hospital said that the condition of Reaz Rahman is now improving.
