US deports 25 Bangladeshis

Around 25 Bangladeshi nationals were deported from the US, for either violating their visa norms or illegally entering America, landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the earily hours on Thursday.
The special aircraft carrying them landed at the airport at 3am, said officials at the airport.
Wage Earners Welfare Board assistant director Tanvir Hossain told media that 25 Bangladeshis deported from the United
States reported at the welfare desk.
The deported are Md Raju, Raju Ahmed, Rezaul Haque, Mohammad Yeasin, Mohammad Islam, Mohammad Alamin, Abdul Awal, Md Omar Faruk, Mohammaed Dowan, Akram Hossain, Nahidul Hasan, Ariful Rahman, Md Saiful Islam Mohammed Isalm, Abdul Karim, Meherab Hossain, Shahidul Islam, Jahir Uddin , Mohammad Abdul Ali, Arif Rahman, Shakil Ahmed, Ainul Haque Shakib, Abdul Waheed, Mehedi Hasan and Jahedul Islam Nayeem.
Their ages range 20 to 30 years, according to a document. BRAC migration programme head Shariful Islam said that deportation proved that there was no safe place for the undocumented migrant workers.
Though the migrants tried to migrate spending up to Tk 35 lakh for the United States, they were detained and sent back home, he said.
He requested the aspirants to give up wrong attempt for migrating through irregular channels.
He said that all countries in America and Europe continued to deport undocumented migrants.
In January, several hundred Bangladeshi migrants were detained on the cross-border areas of the United States and Mexico as they attempted to enter the United States illegally.
