Staff Reporter :Apprehending fresh terror attack, the United States has directed its nationals living in Bangladesh not to attend any programme at Five Star hotels.In a recent travel alert given on the website of US Embassy in Dhaka, it was also cautioned that the participation of US nationals in any programme at Five Star hotels would not be acceptable by the mission.In the alert message, the US authority mentioned the July 1 terror attack at Holey Artisan Bakery and also asked its citizens to avoid Road- 79 of Gulshan -2 in the capital city Dhaka.The travel alert also asked the American citizens not to go to public places and avoid walk on footpaths.At the same time, the US nations are advised to avoid coverless vehicles such as: motorcycle, bicycle, rickshaw and others. Meanwhile, sources close to the diplomatic circle said that the US citizens are deliberately avoiding the public places and public gatherings in Bangladesh.Not only that, US Ambassador in Dhaka Marcia Bernicat is also reportedly avoiding the parties and other programmes at Five Star hotels. Meanwhile, the nationals of United Kingdom living in Bangladesh are also avoiding the programmes of Five Star hotels getting instruction from their government.
