Lux superstar, popular actress and model Urmila Srabanti Kar will appear in a number of telefilms and TV serials during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Urmila has already completed the works of several Eid telefilms directed by reputed directors like BU Shuvo, Shimanto Sajal, Anonnyo Emon and Saiful.
Besides, she is now working in a special drama serial written and directed by Ejaj Munna.
The drama serial will be aired on NTV in Eid-ul-Azha.
While talking about her Eid projects Urmila told this correspondent, “I have been offered many scripts. Among these scripts, I am trying to work in the good stories only. Mainly, I am focusing on my characters. I am trying to portray those characters, where I can break the barriers.”
Meanwhile, July 18 was Urmila’s birthday. The actress, however, has not celebrated the day in a grand manner since last two years after the demise of her father.
On the occasion of her birthday, Urmila attended two celebrity talk shows live on two TV channels. Later she spent the rest of the day with her mother.
While talking about her birthday Urmila said, “I have passed two of my birthdays without my father. Without him, I feel very alone sometimes and I miss him so much on my birthday. When my birthday arrives, I feel extremely sad. Still, all I seek blessing from everyone, so that I could spend the day gracefully.”
