Lux superstar and popular actress Urmila Srabonti Kar’s husband Joydeep Sinha Roy is working as programme manager in BRAC. Before that he studied at University of Dhaka and BRAC University.
Despite working at BRAC for many days he yesterday went to UK with having scholarship. He will do his masters there in development studies under Chevening Scholarship in University of Sussex. It is government scholarship of UK. Since 1980 till now 113 persons got this scholarship. Joydeep is one of them.
While talking in this regard Urmila told this correspondent, “Joydeep went to UK for one and half year. It is really joyful matter for me. I am very much excited in this regard. With the blessing of God he got this opportunity. Everybody pray for us.”
It is noted that Urmila tied the nuptial knot with Joydeep on April 29 in 2016. She was busy with her husband after Eid. So, she couldn’t take part in any shooting. Now she will be regular in work, Urmila mentioned.
