After a break of one year, popular TV actress of present time and model Urmila Srabonti Kar performed as a model in a TV commercial. She performed as a model in a TVC of a multinational company’s microwave oven recently. Shooting of the TVC was done on December 20 and 21 in the city’s Coke Factory.
Urmila informed that now shooting of any TVC is done within one day but there was level best effort to make it more presentable.
While sharing her feelings to work in the TVC Urmila told this correspondent, “I have enjoyed a lot working in the TVC. Concept of the TVC seemed to me absolutely new. I have worked with very many difficulties. In fact, I am very much optimistic about the TVC. It will be aired soon in different satellite channels.”
Urmila last performed as a model in a TVC of mustard oil one year ago. She first performed in a TVC of Citycell Zoom Ultra under Piplu’s direction. Later she performed in many other TVCs.
Now Urmila is working in five serials. These are: Syed Shakil’s Shonar Shikol, Nazrul Islam Raju’s Sunflower, Ezaz Munna’s Astha and
Better-half and Sakhawat’s Meghey Dhaka Shohor. In all these serials, she is acting
in challenging roles.
Meanwhile, Urmila has also acted in several numbers of faction plays. Recently she lost her father. Despite having mourning she has engaged with acting for her professional
point of view, Urmila said.
