State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadique said the issue of upgrading the posts of administrative officers (AO) and personal officers (PO) of Bangladesh Secretariat to class one officers is under examination.
The state minister disclosed this on Tuesday at the Jatiya Sangsad in reply to a scripted query from treasury bench member MA Hannan (Mymensingh-7). She said the government has constituted the National Wage and Service Commission 2013 aimed at fixing the pay scale and service conditions of the government officials and employees.
“The activities related to upgrading the post of administrative officers and personal officers of Bangladesh Secretariat to class one officers are now under the jurisdiction of the commission,” she said.
