UNB, Benaploe :A youth, who sustained bullet injuries in a clash during the second phase union parishad election at Tekhati village here on Monday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Saturday morning.Iqbal Hossain, 28, son of Azizur Rahman of the village, succumbed to his injures at the hospital in the morning, said officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Ilias Hossain.Iqbal was caught in the line of fire and sustained bullet injuries during a clash between two groups at the village on Monday.He was first taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital and later shifted to the DMCH on Tuesday as his condition deteriorated.
