Chittagong Bureau :Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mezbahuddin urged all Union Parishad chairmen to work with cordially and neutrally aimed at keeping the respective areas free from terrorism. He made this call at the inaugural ceremony of Refreshers Training Course at Chittagong circuit house on Friday . The daylong training course was attended by the UNOs, UP chairman, UP secretary & the female members empowered with cheque signatory under second local Governance Support Project(LGSP-2). Deputy commissioner said UP is being administered by the local govt ministry and one UP chairman is the administrator of the respective union. He advised the UP chairmen, secretary and members to work cordially with aim of none to be deprived from their legitimate rights. He also disclosed that very shortly one Accountant will be appointed in each UP to make the UP’s development work promptly with dynamism. Project Director of Local Govt Abul Hossain presided over it and the Executive Magistrate Sabrina Rahman conducted the traning programs.Among others, Boalkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer(UNO) Khondakar Nurul Hoque,Rangunia UNO Saiful Islam, Lohagara UNO Fiznur Rahman, NDC Lutfur Rahman, executive Magistrate Asif Imtiaz and Magistrate Tahmilur Rahman spoke in the traning course.
