Hakkani Anjuman Bangladesh organized universal prayers meeting at the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh in the city on Tuesday with its president Iqbal Hossain in the chair.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque was present as the chief guest. While addressing Mozammel said the happiness and peace will come back in the society if we work together irrespective of religion and caste being inspired with the ideology of noted Kamel of the sub-continent Hazrat Maulana Sufi Mufti Azangachhi, founder of Hakkani Anjuman.
The prayers meeting was attended ,among others, by former Whip Sagufta Yasmin, MP, nuclear scientist Prof Dr Shamser Ali, founder Chairman of World Religion Department of Dhaka University Prof Dr Kazi Nurul Islam, Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Swami Dhrubeshananda Maharaj, President of Bouddha Mahabihar Shuddhananda Mahathero and chief of Guruduara Nanokshahi Darshan Sing.
Iqbal Hossain conducted munajat after prayers meeting.
