Terming terrorism and violent extremism as the worst threat to the sustainability of human civilization, Land Minister Shamshur Rahaman Sherif urged all to unite and work together to root out these menaces.
“We must unite and bring an end to these global challenges,” he said this on Friday as the chief guest while speaking at a street rally at Muladuii in Iswardi under Pabna district.
He said terrorism and violent extremism remain major impediments to global peace and development. He urged the people to hand over any person to the police if he was found involved in terrorist activities.
He also urged the students to be aware and keep them away from terrorism.
